The weather has sure been brutal this week. Here's hoping for day days ahead.

Never have I ever let my fears and anxiety rule my world. I can't let the anxiety take over. I work really hard to stay positive and look for the small moments of peace around me. A bird singing. Flowers blooming. A gentle kiss on my shoulder from my husband. These things I cherish. The rest, I battle every single day.

I embrace this. I think it's necessary for life to be ... good. But I can't in truth do it every day anymore. There is so much sadness, and I really don't like that I've added to it with this post. Thanks, Nancy, for the reminder.

Oh, I agree about the too much sadness. The news is so depressing. But for my own wellbeing, I have to try to see the good. Otherwise, there is no hope.

Me, either, and getting more so all the time.

Well said, Liz! I get it…I worry about grandkids and what their futures wil look like. I ever thought we’d live with such cruelty from a president/an administration! Guess it’s my Pollyanna self that keeps waiting for

a hero, good folks who’ll stop it all. I believe they are all of us and by voting and speaking up…we can overcome. Keeping hopeful helps my anxiety and overthink! 😏☺️ Thank you for saying what we needed to hear!

Interesting post. I love your closing: Be nice to somebody. I especially like doing that to strangers.
